Anthony Scott has been on the yoga path since 1985 and is the founder of The Tristhana Yoga Method. Many years of teaching experience Internationally, his background in Ashtanga Yoga and thousands of 1 on 1 personal sessions has lead to the evolution of this Method. Anthony is a certified Yoga Therapist with the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT).
This method can be adapted to suit the aspirations of each student individually, whether it is to begin a yoga practice, deepen, broaden and give direction to an establishing practice, or create a safe pathway to the Primary Series of Ashtanga Yoga.
The 3 places of attention and action (Tristhana) can turn a physical exercise into a spiritual practice. The senses are brought under control, and a deep self awareness arises. These subtle techniques are the invisible part of yoga practice and are of greater importance than the powerful body workout. Steadiness of mind and body results.
Yoga practiced in this way, with intent and purpose, ensures a profound strengthening, rejuvenating, healing and revitalizing effect on the entire physiology, unlocking and releasing the true potential that lies within.
